Splendor of the Antrim Coast
Here is yet another great example of Northern Ireland’s spectacular shoreline! Right next to the town of Portrush, the long wild beach is an ideal spot for a break from driving the Causeway Coastal Route.
Towards the Dunluce Castle, the cliffs take and unusual white colors, and it is a delight to explore the foot of the cliffs and climb the boulders. Intriguingly, the smaller rocks that come out of the sand in front of the white cliffs, are black!
The viewpoint showed in the first panorama is located right after the Dunluce Castle, and offers amazing plunging views of the rugged white cliffs.
Towards Portrush, you will be greeted by a huge sand dune, that is probably the best viewpoint to realise the immensity of this beach.
