Impressive Sand Dunes And A Strange Russian Border

This is the video of my exploration of the Curonian Spit in Lithuania – from the Curonian Lagoon, to the endless beaches of the Baltic Sea, and back to the lagoon.
From the colorful village of Nida, it is very easy to explore the sand dunes and get to the beach. But at some point if you walk too far, you will come across the border with the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad – a small piece of Russia inside Europe.
I was a little puzzled at this border, as it looks really… minimalist and unimpressive. But it’s not a reason to cross it and get into trouble!

Nida and the Curonian Spit probably are my best memory in the whole of Lithuania. It has it all: a striking landscape, and a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
